His duty to the world was over, but his mission was not yet complete. Severin's undying loyalty to the mother had something else for him to do. He whispered into the night, "Severin hears. he listens. And now Severin..." he closed his eyes, "No. Not Severin. Severin is me. I am Severin. and now I know why." He turned, glanced at the fractured heavens and walked away. He vanished into shadows and the glare of oncoming night.
